Privacy policy

What this website collects, why, and what happens to it. Written to describe what the site actually does — not a template.

Last updated August 26, 2026

The short version

This site collects information in one place only: the free case evaluation form. We use what you send to respond to you about your potential case. We do not sell it, we do not trade it, and we do not use it to advertise to you elsewhere.

Before you use the form Sending a message through this website does not create an attorney–client relationship, and information you send before that relationship exists may not be protected as confidential. Please do not send sensitive details, documents, or anything time-critical through the form. If your matter is urgent, call (951) 544-1418.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the case evaluation form, we receive:

  • your name
  • your phone number
  • your email address, if you choose to provide one
  • the language you would prefer we use
  • the type of case, if you select one
  • what you tell us about what happened

Name, phone number, and a description of what happened are required; everything else is optional. If you email or call us instead, we receive whatever you choose to tell us that way.

Information collected automatically

When you submit the form we also record the IP address the submission came from and the time it arrived. We use these for one purpose: limiting how many submissions a single source can send in a short period, so automated spam does not bury real enquiries.

How your submission is handled

Your submission is written to a private file on the website’s server before we attempt to email it to the firm. This ordering is deliberate — if our email is misconfigured or the mail provider is down, your enquiry is still safely recorded rather than silently lost. That file is not published on the website and is not accessible to anyone browsing the site.

A notification containing your submission is then emailed to the firm so that someone can respond to you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. It is shared only with:

  • Our service providers — the companies that host this website and deliver our email, strictly so they can provide those services to us.
  • Where the law requires it — for example in response to valid legal process, or where disclosure is necessary to protect someone’s safety.

If you later become a client of the firm, information about your matter is governed by the attorney–client privilege and the confidentiality duties California law imposes on lawyers, which are considerably stricter than this policy.

Cookies and similar storage

This website does not use advertising cookies, and it does not track you across other websites.

The accessibility widget on this site stores your accessibility preferences — such as a larger font size or higher contrast — in a cookie and in your browser’s local storage, so your choices persist when you move between pages. That information stays in your browser. The widget is hosted on our own server and makes no requests to any third party.

Analytics

This site does not currently run any analytics or measurement tools. If we add website analytics in future, we will update this policy to say what is collected before turning it on.

How long we keep it

We keep case enquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to law firms. If you asked us about a matter and did not become a client, you may ask us to delete your enquiry — see below.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@singhlawhq.com or call (951) 544-1418 and tell us what you would like us to do.

California residents have rights under California privacy law regarding personal information, including the right to know what is collected and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. Note that where the law requires a law firm to retain records, we may need to keep certain information even after a deletion request.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions are stored where the public cannot reach them. No website can promise perfect security, which is the honest reason for the warning at the top of this page: please do not send us confidential documents or sensitive details through a web form.

Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it. Parents and guardians can of course contact us about an injury to their child.

Other websites

This site links to places like Google Maps, Instagram, and TikTok. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this one does not apply to them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the revised version here and update the date at the top of the page.
